Terms of Service for TransChat

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to TransChat. By downloading, accessing, or using the TransChat mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

TransChat is a communication and translation platform that allows users to translate text and voice content across multiple languages. The Service is provided "as is" and is subject to availability and technical limitations.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to sign in using a third-party authentication service, such as Google Sign-In.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use & User Conduct

You agree to use TransChat only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to transmit illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing content.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security of, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service.
• Use the Service for any commercial solicitation or spam purposes.
• Upload viruses or other malicious code.
• Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the text, voice recordings, and other content you submit to TransChat ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant TransChat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, translate, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to submit any User Content.

6. Intellectual Property

The TransChat name, logo, and all associated software, features, and functionalities are and will remain the exclusive property of TransChat and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as Google Play Services and Firebase). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

8. Translation Accuracy Disclaimer

TransChat uses automated machine translation. While we strive for high quality, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any translations provided by the Service.

You should not rely solely on TransChat translations for critical, legal, medical, or high-stakes communications. Human verification is recommended for important matters.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TRANSCHAT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRANSCHAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting our support team.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect (e.g., via an in-app notification or email).
